Section 360. Powers and functions of Official Liquidator
Effective from 15-12-2016

(1) The shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as the Central Government may prescribe.

(2) Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-section (1), the Official Liquidator may—

(a) exercise all or any of the powers as may be exercised by a under the provisions of this Act; and

(b) conduct inquiries or investigations, if directed by the or the Central Government, in respect of matters arising out of winding up proceedings.

2(61) Official Liquidator means an Official Liquidator appointed under sub-section (1) of section 359
2(23) Company Liquidator  means a person appointed by the Tribunal as the Company Liquidator in accordance with the provisions of section 275 for the winding up of a company under this Act.
2(90) Tribunal means the National Company Law Tribunal constituted under section 408
